You can make a difference.

The Junior Rebels foundation’s purpose is to create an inclusive rugby community that promotes accessibility and facilitates the development of grassroots rugby in the Southern Districts catchment.

Our foundation values of inclusion, friendship. teamwork, respect and enjoyment guide our behaviours and underpin our actions.

The aim of the Junior Rebels Foundation is to:

  • Encourage greater participation in junior rugby by creating an inclusive and accessible playing culture within the Southern Districts catchment

  • Develop fun and interactive pre-school rugby programs introducing rugby and a pathway into junior competitions.

  • Create development opportunities and player pathways for boys and girls 6-17 years of age

  • Improve competition performance through the provision of skill development programs for Players, Coaches and Referees.

  • Increase the profile of all village clubs and attract new members through targeted community engagement in initiatives.

Other priorities for the Junior Rebels foundation are in line with the Southern Districts Juniors strategic plan. This covers all aspects including governance, rugby operations, community programming and engagement, finance and player pathways.
